Monster of the Month — Volume 2, Issue 6 — June 2021
A truly monstrous Rune Master is presented in this last issue of MOTM's mini-series of Rune Masters.
Grungnak Fearless is a brutal Death Lord of Zorak Zoran, the God of Hate and Vengeance.
She has risen from lowly bandit origins to shake up the status quo of Glorantha's classic "adventurer's playground," the Big Rubble. *
This dangerous antagonist and her berserk followers will provide a challenge even to experienced adventurers.
In addition to describing Grungnak, this issue includes:
. Stolen Fire, a magic item reflecting Zorak Zoran's perspective in the famous Yelmalion myth, the Hill of Gold
. The Death Lord's lover, Bazzik Fineteeth, and her young insect warden, Fenhield Mantis-Friend
. A short-form Rune cult of Gorakiki the Insect Mother in her aspect as Gorakiki-mantis, suitable for gamemaster and player use alike!
This supplement is designed to be useful for RuneQuest players who only own the core rulebook.
However, it is recommended that the gamemaster also have access to the Glorantha Bestiary for additional detail about the Uz.
Content Warning: This product contains mature themes involving gore and violence.

Welcome to Spider Woods, another in the Holiday Dorastor series of RuneQuest supplements, exploring the Spider Woods on the edge of Dorastor.
Here you will find 5 scenarios (What About Us, Help Us Build a Village, New Beginnings, The Shakedown and Purging Chaos), links to the Dorastor Land of Doom campaign, 15 new spells, 16 new places, a short description of how to play one of the Spiderkin as an Adventurer, a magic item and several tasty spider foods.
So, put your nightmares away and learn to embrace Spider Woods.
We were going to include a Riskland Campaign in Spider Woods, but Leon was afraid to add any more scenario hooks in case I turned them into HeroQuests.
So, I have pulled them out into another supplement, probably coming out next year.
The idea would be to have several interlinked scenarios in each section of the campaign, with hooks to expand it further.
I will probably include Hahlgrim's War in the campaign, taking one thread to its logical conclusion.
It should also contain Family History for locals and for those banished from other places.
I might expand the description of the steads from Dorastor Land of Doom.
So, scenario arcs would be: Risklands, Dorastaland, Duckland, and Hahlgrim's War. Maybe 4 or 5 scenarios for each, with each scenario having 5 or 6 pages. So, between 80 and 120 pages of scenarios, plus background.
In Secrets of Dorastor there is a Scenario Hook where some ducks come and settle in Foulvale. That is what I am calling Duckland.
Cups of Clearwine is sourcebook for RuneQuest: Roleplaying in Glorantha, detailing the lives of ordinary people who can help you have extraordinary adventures.
Cups has details for a dozen households, each with plot hooks for the area and beyond.
Every household was created to add to the interest and playability of the area.
Cups expands the area halfway up the city, between the newest areas of the city, and the old, rich nobility.
Here there are food and wine shops, crafters, and old, retired warriors.
A vendref who left the grazelands lives next to a trollkin night watch guard.
The distant cousin of Samastina of Esrolia has a home in the area, making a living and spreading joy as a courtesan.
In addition to the highly detailed households, there are general plot hooks suitable for any level of party, and a fully realised, ready-to-play five-page adventure.
There is an appendix of goods for those who wish to buy from the crafters or the food and wine shops.
Like Heort's Legacy, this gives variant HeroQuestWorldWars clan creation questionnaires, this time for northern Orlanthi (Tarsh (Far Place, Red Dragon Valley, Exiles) and Aggar (Sairdites) and Tusk Rider (Aramites) characters.
