Nick Brooke vient de proposer un nouveau scénario RQG:
I’ve just uploaded my new short RuneQuest scenario to the Jonstown Compendium. It's called The Duel at Dangerford. The scenario itself is 24 pages long, and features half the Provincial Army of Lunar Tarsh: Drama! Excitement! Betrayal! Foul Lunar Sorcery!
And since only gamemasters and confirmed non-combatants are ever likely to pick it up, I thought it’d be a good place to share some colourful ideas I came up with for The Smoking Ruin and The Dragon of Thunder Hills as appendices. (Warning: here be SPOILERS for both scenarios)

Nouveau scénario ultra basique sur The Jonstown Compendium: Jorthan's Rescue Redux
When a Lunar noblewoman stumbles into your village and asks for your help, saying that her husband has been kidnapped by trolls, what do you do? This is the set-up for Jorthan’s Rescue Redux, an update of Jorthan’s Rescue, the classic RuneQuest mini-scenario by Stephen R. Marsh and John Sapienza Jr. which originally appeared in White Dwarf #19 in 1980 (& Best of White Dwarf Scenario in 1980). This new version has been rewritten for use with Chaosium. Inc.’s RuneQuest: Roleplaying in Glorantha and relocated to Sartar, whilst retaining the original’s flexibility to be set anywhere where troll brigands might be found. It is a simple, straightforward adventure suitable to be played by characters with a few adventures under their belts.

It includes all new artwork and maps and nineteen NPCs, including two who could become Player Characters.

$6 24 pages

Nouveau scénario RQG sur the Jonstown Compendium:
A pestilence threatens the crop at Cliffheath.
It festers at the very edge of Sun County and the Sandheart Militia are sent to investigate.
Their orders are simple – purge the area of disease.
But what caused it and where is the source? The clock is ticking.
Can the militia solve the mystery before the situation spirals out of control?

The Corn Dolls is an investigation-based adventure set in the district of Sandheart (detailed in Tales of the Sun County Militia – Sandheart Volume 1).
It is a non-linear adventure requiring the players to follow leads and react to events.
At 45 pages it includes ten handouts/stead maps, a map of Cliffheath, information on each of five farmsteads, key NPC stats and a timeline of events.
It is expected to take between two and five sessions to complete.

$4.95 / 4.50 € pour 45 pages

Et hop, encore du nouveau sur TJC:
Humakt, Raven, and Wolf is a playable heroquest for RuneQuest : Roleplaying in Glorantha.
It is based on a Gloranthan myth by Ian Cooper, used by kind permission.
The heroquest can be performed in order to locate something that the adventurers need to find, be it a person or an object.
One of the heroquesters must take on the role as Humakt.
This is a short (one session) scenario.
The difficulty can be adjusted by the gamemaster by adding or removing combat opponents.

$3.95 15 pages

Salut,

http://rlyehreviews.blogspot.com/search ... 20Jottings

Nick Brooke
A Rough Guide to Glamour

et les campagnes:

Andrew Logan Montgomery
Six Seasons in Sartar, rewritten for RQG with tons of changes and new stuff.
en partant des initiations (Orlanth, Ernalda)

Neil Gibson
Pavis County campaign - The Flower Girl

et pour Heroquest: Glorantha
Shawn & Peggy Carpenter
Valley of Plenty, a Heroquest: Glorantha campaign book focusing on the Dundealos tribe

Image
“This book will take your players from the age of eight or nine to their initiation as adult members of their clan. The difficulty level and risks involved in scenarios will escalate throughout the book, but death or crippling injuries are unlikely.
This chapter of the saga represents that fuzzy, golden-tinged period of each character’s life when the days ahead of them are endless, their potential limitless, and every adventure glorious.
This book represents the God Time of your characters’ lives: their childhood. We hope they, and you, enjoy it. Darker days lie ahead.”

Valley of Plenty is the first volume in the Jaldonkillers Saga, a grand campaign that will span most of a PC’s lifetime and will fill up to four volumes. The Saga takes place in Glorantha, the beautifully deep fantasy world created by Greg Stafford. It’s written to use Chaosium’s Heroquest: Glorantha rules or the soon-to-be released Questworlds, which is an update of Heroquest. Both are strong narrative games with just enough mechanics to give some heft to the setting and not too much to interfere with the story.

In this case, that story is the tale of the Wildlings, a group of youngsters (the PCs) who are part of a clique centered on the tribal king’s middle and youngest daughters, Hara and Ula. The Wildlings begin the saga at the age of 9 as they compete with other cliques, like that of Hara’s older sister, Derinna, and get into scrapes that can escalate dramatically in the spirit-rich world of Glorantha. The book provides complete adventures and story-seeds for the characters at different ages, ranging from age 9 to their adult initiation at 15.

What is the Jaldonkillers Saga?

The Jaldonkillers Saga is a grand campaign that follows the careers of a band of Dundealos tribesmen known as The Wildlings through the destruction of their tribe, its reconstitution in exile, and the effort to reclaim its lost lands and glory. The saga begins in 1602 and stretches to the Dragonfall into the late 1620s and beyond. It is intended as a vehicle to support the development of characters from childhood to Herodom in a fluid but consistent setting in which they can experience adventures that involve them in everything from slice-of-life challenges to world changing conflicts.

The next book in the Saga, Lances at Dusk, is already in progress. In it, the characters from Valley of Plenty will witness the last desperate days of their tribe and the end of their cherished way of life.
