Q: Are Dokat and forth Wrath near?
A: There is a map of the surrounding area in Temple of Heads, but a fuller map in Secrets of Dorastor.
It is near to Fort Wrath and fairly near to Dokat.
Spider Woods is next, then probably Seven Hills.
I based Fort Wrath on a dwarven complex that I bought years ago, City of Dolg, but can't use that map for Jonstown Compendium.
Dokat might come, eventually, maybe as a Cities of Dorastor supplement.
Note: Temple of Heads should be followed by Spider Woods, then maybe Seven Hills. All three are old school.
And a PoD of Secrets of Dorastor (alternative classic look version) may be available at some times.
. The Company of the Dragon:
Entre les personnes attendant de jouer d'abord Six Seasons in Sartar et celles attendant la version PoD, Andrew Logan Montgomery est déçu concernant les ventes de la campagne tCotD par rapport au temps passé à l'écrire, et ne prévoit donc pas d'en écrire d'autre pour l'instant.
It took me six months to write Company, and I even shortened my teaching schedule each week to do it (losing pay).
But given the lackluster response, I will never be doing that again. I can't afford to focus on projects like this when people do not buy them.
I have other writing contracts coming up, not for RQ, but if I am given the choice between pouring my hard work into something people do not buy and something they will...it is an easy choice.
I suspect there is still a perception that JC products are not "real." they are "amateur," etc.
Which may or may not be true, but it is a pity.
There is amazing work being done by JC authors and I do not think they get half the credit or attention they should.
Company was an experiment.
I wanted to see if a long campaign would sell.
It isn't.
So I am happy I did it but it it is time to move on to where the audience is.
I have a Cthulhu project coming up, and possibly a couple of others.
And I WILL still be doing JC content.
Just not a campaign again.
I am thinking of projects I can price at under $10 US.
