The Jonstown Compendium:Updated for flying critters of all sorts – Griffins, Hippogriffs, Sky Bulls, Wind Children, Wyverns, Wyrms (guess whose campaign is off to Pegasus Plateau). And Unicorns.
Seven high-resolution pictorial maps of Elder Wilds (4266 x 2400 pixels: 14.22 inches x 8.00 inches, roughly US Legal paper size at 300 DPI), drawn in Wonderdraft based on the poster map from “Griffin Mountain.”
There are four base maps (Players’, Game Master’s, Detailed and Political), each presented in hex-free and 5 mile hex formats, political map only presented with hexes.
The Players’ map is in a different style to the GM, Detailed maps; the detailed map names every major regions, rivers, forests and fords, and the political map; the political map names the major inhabitents of a certain area.
"...Eventually the World Machine will be repaired and the God Time will be restored […] When that happens all the many races of Glorantha will die..."
(The Elder Races, RuneQuest: Glorantha Bestiary)
Adventurers able to manage this story will have a chance to divert such fate...
GLORANTHA: Rivers of Blood is an adventure for RuneQuest: Roleplaying in Glorantha in which a group of Grazelanders are required by their community to put a stop to a curse which recently struck their homeland.
In the first part adventure hooks are provided in order to engage the characters, together with background information for the gamemaster to use while the secrets of the story unfold. The second part includes a random encounters table to be used while the group travels wild Grazelands plus the map of an ancient Mostali cave, now turned into a dangerous place in which the truth behind the curse can be found.
For the last two Rune Masters of this six-issue MOTM run, our attention turns to the Elder Races of Glorantha.
This supplement presents Ehnval Tallspear, a stern Wood Lord of Aldrya.
Found near his native woods north of Esrolia, his description includes advice and adventure seeds for the gamemaster for use as either friend or foe.
In addition to describing Ehnval, this issue includes:
. Treasures galore, from a collection of minor Elvish Trinkets to a description of the Living Copper cultivated in dryad groves and rarely seen by humankind.
. A cast of peculiar side characters—Andovar, a lovelorn Yelmalion elf, the irascible Ancient Runner, and the talking bear Borulgus.
This supplement is designed to be useful for RuneQuest players who only have the core rulebook.
It is recommended that the gamemaster also have the Glorantha Bestiary.
Familiarity of the Aldryami section of that work will enrich your experience with Ehnval Tallspear.
Résumé par Nick Brooke pour la "série" de Davide Quatrini:"...Daka Fal […] is Judge of the Dead, who knows all mortal’s crimes and righteous deeds […] He […] reviews each soul and decides its future […] into their own heaven or hell..."
(Deities of Darkness, The Glorantha Sourcebook)
Not all souls are satisfied with Daka Fal’s judgement...
GLORANTHA: A Grim Pilgrimage is an adventure for RuneQuest: Roleplaying in Glorantha in which a band of Prax nomads are required by their community to investigate about a group of pilgrims mysteriously disappeared in Eiritha Hills.
In the first part adventure hooks are provided in order to engage the characters, together with background information for the gamemaster to use while the secrets of the story unfold. The second part includes a random encounters table to be used while the group travels Prax wildlands plus the map of Daka Fal shrine, now turned into a dangerous place in which the truth behind the pilgrims’ disappearance can be found.
These minimalist scenario outlines will need work to flesh out.
Some thought has gone into the scenario hooks (see the full-size preview of Search for the Throne of Colymar for a complete example), but beyond that there is at most a ¼ page random encounter table, possibly one ¼ page statblock, a ½ page Dyson Logos map, and a ½ page list of dungeon inhabitants.
If that’s worth a dollar to you, go for it.
Complexity: low for staging/effort, but you’ll need to do the prep.
Characters: default RQG adventurers.
This free play aid collects all of the Rune spells published by Chaosium in The Red Book of Magic together in printer-friendly format. It includes spell tables organized by Rune, as well as a complete alphabetical listing. Each entry includes how many Rune points the spell costs to cast, and the parameters listed for the spell in The Red Book of Magic. The alphabetical list additionally includes all listed Runes used to cast a particular spell.
This chart is free, because I believe it will much increase The Red Book of Magic's utility. If you find it useful, please toss something in the "tip jar," or consider purchasing another product from Akhelas.
This product contains ZERO spell descriptions. You'll need a copy of The Red Book of Magic to use this play aid in your game of RuneQuest.
