The Seven Ancient Moon Goddesses par KleiosCanvas:

Image
This image depicts Sedenya, the great Goddess of the Moon, surrounded by seven ancient moon goddesses whose lives are her own. First and last is Zaytenara, who is the peace and purity of what comes before and after. Second is Verithurusa, who left her home to live, love, and learn. Third is Lesilla, who ruled over her people before jealous gods pulled her from the sky. Fourth is Gerra, who suffered and brought suffering. Fifth is Rashorana, who learned the while suffering is life, life is not suffering. Sixth is Orogeira, who hunts for what she needs to become whole. Seventh is Natha, who carves out her space in the world, bringing justice and balance.

Lunar priestess & Pentan chieftain par KleiosCanvas:

Image
For the most part, the Seventh Wane was an unprecedented period of peace and prosperity for the Lunar Heartlands. Much of the wealth flowing into the imperial core was poured into the arts, with noble houses competeing to outdo each other in their lavish displays of power and benevolence. The genre of romantic art, poetry, and literature saw a veritable rennaissance, fueled by the enthusiastic support of the Red Emperor’s current Mask Argenteus.

Especially popular were booklets of romantic short fiction or poetry, lavishly illustrated in the Carmanian miniature style, which has it’s origins in the far west. This illustration was based on an old folk tale from First Blessed, telling of the first secret, then open courtship between a Lunar priestess and a Pentan chieftain during the reign of Sheng Seleris, and was accompanied by the following poem:

''Our sister leaves us every night
To venture into blessed Rufelza's light
She says not why but we need not guess
We see she's been in no distress
For each dawn she'll have returned
With a smile barely surpressed
And a flower clutched tight to her chest

Our Chieftain rides out every night
Under the crimson red moonlight
She tells none where but we still know
That to the temple she will go
For each dawn she'll have returned
Hiding not from eyes that seek
The mark of scarlet lips upon her cheek''
